Philippines' Disaster Emergency Hotlines

On October 02, 2009

Nat'l. Disaster Coordinating Council Chairman Gilbert Teodoro said in the press conference this morning that in the event when you are requested or forced to evacuate your area, it's best that you do so without hesitation. Rescue operating teams will definitely not prioritize to sacrifice funds and effort to assist areas where residents have been warned to leave their houses beforehand.

Our country has not yet recovered from typhoon Ondoy and all resources are being exhausted to all evacuation camps. It's time we all act together and help each other. We should all be responsible enough to educate ourselves in order to help ourselves.

After the devastating typhoon "Ondoy / Ketsana", here comes another super typhoon "Pepeng / Parma". Let's pray that our country will get through another blow. I am re-posting these contact information from various sources in preparation for super typhoon "Pepeng". Please save these numbers before it's too late.

To the authorities, pls continue warning all the stubborn residents along Laguna de Bay. Everyone were already evacuated but many are still not leaving their homes. That area is very danger prone.
